Dr. Divya Marina Fernandes is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Heart failure specialist at Aster RV Hospital JP Nagar, Bengaluru. Apart from performing Coronary and other interventional procedures, she has a special interest in the field of Heart failure and cardiac transplantation. She heads the ‘Heart failure clinic’ at Aster RV hospital. Formerly she has worked as an Associate Consultant at Fortis hospital, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore for approximately two years.

Dr. Divya Marina Fernandes has performed nearly 2000 diagnostic catheterizations and more than 1000 coronary angioplasties in the catheterization laboratory. She has good experience in performing diagnostic coronary, peripheral, & congenital catheterizations.

She takes a keen interest in the management of heart failure including optimisation of heart failure medications followed by interventional procedures for the same- Coronary revascularisation and implantation of devices [Implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), Cardiac resynchronisation Therapy (CRT).
